Description

The Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony takes place in front of the World War II mural on the east side of Mooney Boulevard.

The 30-45 minute ceremony begins sharply a 10:55 a.m. with a cannon going off across Mooney Boulevard at Vossler Farms, said Bob McNabb, co-chairman of the Visalia Veterans Committee.

The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor at 7:55 a.m. Dec. 7, 1941, and thrust the United States into World War II.
